Because to do your wedding shoot right requires skill obtained over years & expensive equipment costing $20,000 - $30,000! All our systems are redundant (but not with lower priced amateures) so we can keep shooting no matter what might fail! Electronic cameras, laptop computers, monitor calibration, archival printer inks, software, with a 2 year lifespan before they become obsolete! There is also a constant learning curve to stay current with updated & new software tools! Postproduction work takes 3-5 days to get your albums done right. We use pro labs to get the color balance right, so it does not have to be redone. Professional membership fees & insurance are also a cost of being in business as a professional.
